"The assertion that [Busch] would be chastened from assaulting [Driscoll] for fear of the possibility of physical injury is further discredited, in the Court's view, by the fact that [Busch] makes his living risking his life on an almost daily basis by aggressively driving a race car at speeds often approaching 200 miles per hour in close contact with others driving in the same manner, at the same speed"
Kind of a bold statement, especially in family court where if I remember correct the judge makes the final decision. If I'm reading between the lines correctly, he is saying Busch's story couldnt possibly be right because by being a racing driver he has no concept of self preservation.

It's not F1 from 50 years ago, these cars are extremely safe. Kind of a strange baseless statement from a judge.

Thats an odd conclusion. I mean, do I doubt that Kurt is overly aggressive? Not for a second. Hes a gigantic flaming butthole of a person. But that rests on his shoulders, plenty of racing drivers do their jobs day in and day out and have healthy personal lives.
